Design & Symbolism
Obverse
Belarusian text and Kirovsky Bridge in Vitebsk. The composition gives the landmark room to read as architecture, while inscriptions and numerals complete the formal banknote field. A red palette carries from the principal motif into the surrounding typography and value markings.
Reverse
Belarusian text and the summer amphitheater in Vitebsk. Official inscriptions and denomination figures are distributed around the main imagery, creating a clear hierarchy across the printed field. The red colour scheme links the main image with the note’s inscriptions and denomination figures.
Collector’s Insight
For collectors, P-30a is the original solid-security-thread version of the 10,000-Rouble type. Although dated 2000, TBB records its introduction on 16 April 2001; the later P-30b retains the design but changes to a 2 mm windowed thread.
