Design & Symbolism
Obverse
On the 100-Dinara front, dense black-and-green guilloche work carries the value in both numerals and Serbo-Croatian lettering. Cyrillic and Roman scripts share the field, while Stiepo Andrijić’s signature sits within the ornamental framework. The design relies entirely on typography, value figures and layered security engraving, with no separate scenic vignette.
Reverse
A crowned coat-of-arms shield with sword forms the central motif, set against guilloche ornament with bilingual inscriptions and denomination. The surrounding typography supports the motif without crowding its outline or ornamental detail. The design is held together by black and green tones that continue across image, text and denomination.
Collector’s Insight
For collectors, P-13 pairs directly with the 50-Dinara P-12 in the 1992 sequence: both share the same dimensions, watermark, printer and Stiepo Andrijić signature, but P-13 returns to the heraldic reverse used on the 25-Dinara denomination.
