Design & Symbolism
Obverse
Black and light-blue guilloches frame the 25-Dinara denomination, Serbo-Croatian text in Cyrillic and Roman scripts and Stiepo Andrijić’s signature. Value markings and institutional lettering complete the design while leaving the pictorial subject visually distinct. The black and light blue palette provides continuity between the illustration, typography and value numerals.
Reverse
A crowned coat-of-arms shield with sword is centred against guilloche ornament, accompanied by bilingual inscriptions and denomination. The surrounding typography supports the motif without crowding its outline or ornamental detail. The use of black and light blue creates a consistent ground for the illustration, official text and value figures.
Collector’s Insight
For collectors, P-11 is the heraldic counterpart within the first regular 1992 issue, sharing the same 17 August introduction, diamond-pattern watermark and Stiepo Andrijić signature as P-10 while replacing the bridge vignette with state heraldry.
