Obverse

Toktogul Satylganov appears in blue beside a gold-to-green SPARK Orbital device, Kyrgyz inscriptions and the hundred-som value. Raised ink strengthens the portrait and official text. A RAPID HD Detect windowed security thread crosses the field, while the watermark combines Toktogul's likeness with an electrotype 100.

Reverse

Kürpsay Dam spans the reverse beneath steep mountain slopes, turning water and concrete into a broad infrastructure scene. Full-bleed blue engraving carries the valley to the edges, while an iridescent stripe repeats the denomination and National Bank emblem. The engineered landscape contrasts with the intimate portrait but retains the country's mountain setting.

Collector’s Insight

For collectors, the 2023-dated hundred-som note was introduced on 15 February 2024 with Kubanychbek Bokontayev's signature and AA or AB prefix. It adds colour-shifting SPARK technology to the security system shared by the new low denominations. The issue forms a clear modern counterpart to the larger 2002 Toktogul note, retaining the poet while replacing format and reverse subject.
