Design & Symbolism

Obverse

Ho Chi Minh's portrait is placed at right in dark brown, framed by green and yellow polymer patterns and a clear window near the outer edge. The national coat of arms and vertical serial number occupy the left side. Compact value devices repeat around the central inscriptions, creating a dense face that remains legible through firm tonal separation.

Reverse

A cluster of offshore rigs at Bach Ho fills the reverse with gantries, towers and elevated working decks. The structures are drawn in brown against a yellow-green field, allowing the complex machinery to read as one extended coastal panorama. Water, ornament and the transparent window provide open intervals around the tightly assembled platform forms.
