CFP franc banknotes are defined by highly detailed, large-format compositions that integrate the distinct natural and cultural identity of France’s Pacific territories. Endemic biodiversity is central: the flightless Kagu bird of New Caledonia appears as a key regional symbol, while Polynesian flora such as the Tiare Tahiti gardenia anchors the visual identity of Tahiti and surrounding islands.
