Shipping

We take great care in preparing and shipping every order to ensure your banknotes arrive in the exact condition described.

Dispatch: Orders are typically dispatched within 1–3 business days after payment confirmation.

Packaging: Banknotes are secured in professional protective sleeves and housed within rigid protective packaging designed to prevent damage during transit.

Tracking: All orders are shipped using registered and trackable shipping methods. A tracking number will be provided via email once your order has been dispatched.

Costs & Delivery: Shipping is charged once per order. The flat rate is €7 per order for destinations in our Europe shipping zone and €9 per order for destinations outside Europe. Exact shipping costs and estimated delivery times are shown during checkout based on the destination country.

International Orders: For shipments outside the European Union, the recipient is responsible for any customs duties, import taxes, or other local charges imposed by the destination country. These charges are not included in our shipping rates.

Lost or Damaged Items: WorldBanknotes.eu remains responsible for loss of or damage to the goods until the order is physically received by the customer or by a person designated by the customer, except where the customer independently appoints a carrier not offered by us.

If an order appears to be lost in transit or arrives damaged, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible at info@worldbanknotes.eu. For damaged deliveries, please retain the original packaging and provide clear photographs of the parcel and the affected banknotes.

We will investigate the matter with the shipping provider and, where appropriate, arrange a replacement or refund without limiting the customer’s statutory rights.

Returns and Right of Withdrawal

Consumers have the right to withdraw from an online purchase without giving a reason within 14 days from the day on which they, or a person designated by them, receive the order.

To exercise the right of withdrawal, the customer may use the “Withdraw from Contract” function available on this website or send any other clear written statement to info@worldbanknotes.eu before the 14-day period expires.

The returned items must be sent back without undue delay and no later than 14 days after the withdrawal notification was submitted.

Please contact us before sending a return so that we can provide the correct return address and practical shipping instructions.

Withdraw from Contract

Use this form to exercise your statutory right to withdraw from an eligible online purchase. You do not need to provide a reason.

Please enter the information required to identify your order. After submission, confirmation of your request will be sent to your email address.

After receiving your withdrawal request, we will send practical return instructions without undue delay. This does not affect the 14-day deadline for sending the goods back.

Condition of Returned Banknotes

Customers may inspect a banknote only to the extent reasonably necessary to establish its nature, characteristics, authenticity, and condition.

Due to the delicate and grade-sensitive nature of collectible banknotes, customers must handle them with particular care. Folding, creasing, staining, writing, moisture, fingerprints, surface damage, or other excessive handling may reduce the numismatic grade and market value of the banknote.

Removing a banknote from its protective sleeve does not automatically cancel the right of withdrawal. However, the customer may be responsible for any objectively demonstrable reduction in value resulting from handling beyond what was reasonably necessary to inspect the item.

Return Shipping

The direct cost of returning an item under the statutory right of withdrawal is the responsibility of the customer.

For security, we strongly recommend sending returns by registered and trackable shipping and protecting the banknotes with appropriate rigid packaging.

If the item received is defective, damaged, counterfeit, or differs materially from its description, WorldBanknotes.eu will bear the reasonable return shipping cost.

Exchanges

We do not offer direct product exchanges. If you wish to purchase a different banknote, you may return the eligible item in accordance with this policy and place a new order separately.

No restocking fee is charged. However, a reasonable deduction may be made from the refund if the returned banknote has suffered an objectively demonstrable reduction in value caused by handling beyond what was necessary to inspect it.

Refunds

Following a valid withdrawal, WorldBanknotes.eu will refund all payments received for the returned goods, including the cost of the least expensive standard delivery method offered for the original order.

Any additional delivery costs resulting from the customer choosing a more expensive delivery method are not refundable.

Refunds will be made using the same payment method used for the original transaction, unless the customer expressly agrees otherwise, and the customer will not incur any fees as a result of the refund.

The refund will be issued without undue delay and no later than 14 days after we are informed of the decision to withdraw. We may withhold the refund until the returned goods have been received or until the customer provides evidence that the goods have been sent back, whichever occurs first.
